Overview
toki suli is a language learning app created by Manicgrin Media Ltd, designed to teach languages one word at a time. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
Data we collect
Learning progress
The app stores your learning progress locally on your device, including:
- Which lessons you have completed
- When you completed each lesson
- Quiz scores
- Number of times you have reviewed each word
- Which language courses you are studying
This data is stored solely to provide you with a personalised learning experience and track your progress through each course.
Purchase information
If you purchase additional language courses, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made (so we can unlock the content), but we do not receive or store any payment details, card numbers, or financial information.
Your purchase history is managed by Apple through your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into your account.
Notification preferences
If you enable daily reminders, the app stores your preferred notification time locally on your device.
How your data is stored
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. If you have iCloud enabled for the app, your progress may sync across your devices via your personal iCloud account.
We do not have access to your data. Your learning progress never leaves your device (except to your own iCloud account, if enabled).
Data we do NOT collect
toki suli does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal information (name, email, etc.)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
- Payment or financial information
- Any data to third-party services
In-app purchases
toki suli offers additional language courses as in-app purchases. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Third-party services
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases.
Data sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. There is no data to share — we don't collect it.
Children's privacy
toki suli does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for users of all ages.
Data deletion
To delete all app data, you can:
- Use the "Reset progress" option in the app's Settings for individual languages
- Delete the app from your device
If you use iCloud sync, deleting the app will also remove the synced data from iCloud.
Note: Deleting the app does not cancel any purchases. Your purchased language courses can be restored at any time by reinstalling the app and using "Restore purchases".
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
